New Jeffrey Epstein emails: Trump 'spent hours' with sex victim at mansion

A never-before-seen email written by Jeffrey Epstein says President Donald Trump once spent hours with one of the victims of the notorious late sex trafficker, according to documents released Wednesday by congressional Democrats.

Epstein told convicted accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell in a 2011 email that Trump spent significant time at Epstein’s palatial mansion with the unidentified victim, but authorities were not aware of the contact between the young woman and the future president.

“That dog that hasn’t barked is Trump. (The victim) spent hours at my house with him,” Epstein wrote to Maxwell. “He has never once been mentioned ... police chief etc.”

“I’m 75% there,” Epstein added.

Maxwell replied: “I have been thinking about that.”

The April 2011 email is one of several Epstein messages mentioning Trump that were released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.

Another Epstein email to author Michael Wolff cryptically mentioned a victim, whose name was redacted, and the words “mara lago” and said “of course trump knew about the girls.”

Democrats said the revelations raise major new questions about Trump’s ties to Epstein.

“This would raise questions about whether he’s being honest,” said Rep. Greg Landsman, D-Ohio, a member of the panel. “This is very serious stuff.”

Trump didn’t respond to the revelations in the newly released documents and repeated his claim that the Epstein case is a “hoax.”

“The Democrats (will) do anything at all to deflect on how badly they’ve done on the (government) shutdown,” he posted on his social media site.

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt responded by accusing Democrats of “selectively leaked emails to the liberal media to create a fake narrative to smear President Trump.”

Leavitt claimed the unnamed Epstein victim mentioned in the emails is Virginia Giuffre, who died by suicide in April.

After congressional Democrats released the bombshell emails, House Republicans released more than 23,000 pages of mostly innocuous Epstein-related documents in an apparent effort to show the vast majority of the evidence does not potentially implicate Trump or that the men were not close friends.

In one email exchange, Epstein told former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers he thought Trump was “borderline insane” and in a message to a Middle Eastern prince said: “Trump is close to no one.”

The revelation comes as Democrats are on the verge of reaching the 218 House members needed to force a vote on a measure demanding the release of all Epstein files.

Rep. Adelita Grijalva, D-Ariz., is expected to be finally sworn into office later Wednesday by House Speaker Mike Johnson nearly two months after she won a special election for the seat, raising to 214 the number of Democrats in the chamber.

Four Republicans have joined all Democrats in signing the Epstein petition.

But the White House was frantically seeking to pressure any one of the four to abandon the petition effort. Rep. Lauren Boebert, one of the signatories, was summoned Wednesday to a White House crisis meeting with top administration officials, while Rep. Nancy Mace denied reports she would flip flop.

Trump admits he was once friendly with Epstein from their Palm Beach high society circles, but insists he cut off ties when he found out Epstein was a pervy “creep” and because Epstein poached young female employees from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club.

Trump, 79, has never been credibly accused of any Epstein related criminal wrongdoing.

Epstein, a wealthy financier who died by suicide while awaiting trial in 2019, was accused of molesting scores of girls and young women during a horrific and well-organized scheme that went on for years.

It’s unclear what Epstein meant in the 2011 email when he called Trump the “dog that hasn’t barked,” or that Epstein was “75% there” although it suggests he was considering disclosing to authorities the time Trump allegedly spent with one of the victims.

Trump and his MAGA supporters repeatedly clamored for the release of all information related to the Epstein scandal during his 2024 presidential campaign.

But Trump flip-flopped once he returned to the White House and after he was informed by Attorney General Pam Bondi that his name was mentioned many times in the files.

He now derides the uproar as a Democratic “hoax,” has refused to release any more files and is pressing allies to resist any moves to bare the documents.

The scandal took another twist when Maxwell, who is serving a long prison term for participating in Epstein’s sprawling sex crimes, spent two days last summer being interviewed by Todd Blanche, the No. 2 official at the Department of Justice and Trump’s former personal defense lawyer.

Blanche said she told him she never saw Trump acting inappropriately around any of Epstein’s victims. It’s unknown if Blanche asked her about the email exchanges released this week.

Soon after the sit down, Maxwell, who was a close friend of Trump, won a coveted and unexplained transfer to a cushy Texas prison camp. New reports this week say she is enjoying special treatment there as she prepares to ask Trump for clemency.

Trump, who said he wishes Maxwell well after her conviction, has refused to say if he will pardon Maxwell or commute her sentence. Epstein’s victims and their relatives have demanded that Trump rule out any move to assist Maxwell.
