Patrick Clancy will appear on “60 Minutes.”

The CBS news program advertised its interview with the ex-husband of the Massachusetts woman accused of killing the couple’s three children on Wednesday.

An ad promoting Sunday’s program simply shows the 38-year-old subject getting wired for sound, then sitting in a chair as cameras roll.

It ends with the words “Only on ’60 Minutes'” appearing on-screen.

Patrick was married to Lindsay Clancy in January 2023 when prosecutors say she strangled the couple’s 5-year-old daughter Cora, and their sons Dawson, 3 and Callan, 8 months.

Lindsay, who has not denied killing her kids, pleaded not guilty due to mental health issues including postpartum psychosis. Her hearing ended in a Sept. 4 mistrial with one juror failing to agree with the 11 who believed her defense.

Patrick, who filed for divorce in 2024 and was remarried in Central Park in April, hadn’t so far spoken to media about his ex-wife’s alleged crimes.

A lawyer speaking on his behalf warned conspiracy theorists about defaming Patrick, who’s been accused of no crimes. Lindsay’s defense attorney Kevin Reddington also came to Patrick’s aid last week calling gossip about his alleged involvement “horrific.”

“The fact that he’s moved on with his life and still is standing by Lindsay as far as the legal issues tells the tale,” Reddington told “CBS Mornings.”

CBS offered no clues as to what Patrick said in his interview.

“60 Minutes” finds itself hoping to increase viewership after ratings plummeted to an historic low on Sunday. The show’s season premiere saw a 21% dip from the previous season, according to the New York Times. That reportedly marked a 25-year low.

A change in leadership and personnel at the network following its August 2025 acquisition by Skydance has been met with criticism from viewers worried about a culture change within the CBS news division. It’s now headed by Free Press founder Bari Weiss.
