A fundraiser in support of the single holdout juror who caused the Lindsay Clancy trial to conclude in a mistrial topped $350,000 as of Sunday, over two weeks after being set up by supporters and days after being attached to the newly named juror.

“If they come for him, and they will, this is to cover security, lawyers, and lost work,” the GiveSendGo “Stand With the Juror” fundraiser reads.

The fundraiser was set up by supporters of the juror after the Clancy mistrial was declared Sept. 4, reaching just over $361,000 as of Sunday evening.

The juror’s attorney Edward Andrew Paltzik, a partner at Taylor Dykema who has previously represented President Donald Trump in multiple high-profile legal disputes, said all proceeds would go directly to the juror, who he named on social media Friday.

“0% (ZERO) will go to lawyers.” Paltzik added on X.

Paltzik identified the juror as Michael Peguy Desronvil.

Paltzik also posted a quote he attributed Desronvil.

“I didn’t have any doubts,” Desronvil said in the statement. “As I tried to explain different possible theories during deliberation, I kept getting cut off as if I had doubts based on the evidence presented. Based on all the physical evidence, key witnesses, and what the prosecution presented, I thought it was enough proof that she (Clancy) knew exactly what she was doing and planned.”

The attorney went on to “extend our deepest gratitude” to the fundraiser organizers, who he said he had conversations with. Paltzik said the money would go to “cover necessities in the wake of the death threats, doxxing, and harassment by the lunatic mob that he has so courageously withstood.”

“We will continue to provide frequent informative updates on ‘Stand With the Juror’ as new developments occur,” Paltzik said.
