NEW YORK — Alec and Stephen Baldwin are uninjured following reports the pair crashed into a tree in the Hamptons on Monday afternoon.
The brothers were driving a Range Rover in East Hampton when they plowed head-first into a tree, according to TMZ.
“Stephen is doing fine and is grateful no one was injured. He appreciates the concern and he can confirm that he and Alec are both safe and well,” a representative for the younger Baldwin brother told the Daily News by email Monday night.
It’s unclear who was driving or who owns the vehicle. Photos show the pair speaking with authorities at the crash site.
One picture shows a garbage truck near the wrecked Range Rover. The company that operates that vehicle told TMZ their driver wasn’t the reason for the crash.
Alec Baldwin, 67, has dealt with legal troubles since 2021 following the fatal on-set shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins during the production of the western “Rust” in New Mexico. Director Joel Souza was also injured.
The “30 Rock” alum was later acquitted of manslaughter at his criminal trial and cleared of any wrongdoing. Stephen Baldwin, 59, has over 100 credits and is the father of Hailey Bieber.
Alec Baldwin owns a property in Amagansett. Reps for the Oscar-winner couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
The East Hampton Police Department couldn’t confirm the incident Monday evening.
