Quentin Tarantino came for blood when he revealed, in no uncertain terms, just how much he dislikes Paul Dano, who he dubbed the “weakest male actor,” and the other actors he “really can’t stand.”

The two-time Oscar-winning screenwriter, 62, shared his hot take while revealing his top films of the 21st century — which featured “There Will Be Blood” at No. 5 — during an episode of Bret Easton Ellis’ self-titled podcast.

“‘There Will be Blood’ would stand a good chance at being No. 1 or No. 2 if it didn’t have a big, giant flaw in it … and the flaw is Paul Dano,” said the “Pulp Fiction” writer-director, according to multiple outlets. “[Dano] is weak sauce, man. He is the weak sister. … He’s just such a weak, weak, uninteresting guy.”

Tarantino, who advocated for casting then-teenage Austin Butler instead of Dano, doubled down on the strength of Day-Lewis’ performance, asking: “So you put him with the weakest male actor in SAG? The limpest d–k in the world?”

But Tarantino didn’t stop with Dano, 41, who earned a BAFTA nod for his work in Paul Thomas Anderson’s 2007 staple.

Film journalist Jamie Graham challenged that “being weak and weaselly is the whole point” of Dano’s part.

“I’m not saying he’s giving a terrible performance,” clarified Tarantino. “I’m saying he’s giving a nonentity [performance]. I don’t care for him. I don’t care for Owen Wilson, I don’t care for Matthew Lillard.”

“There Will Be Blood” actor Dillon Freasier told TMZ, “Everyone was perfectly cast.”

“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” star Simu Liu also crowned Dano “an incredible actor.”

Tarantino expanded upon his disdain for 57-year-old Wilson when discussing Woody Allen’s “Midnight in Paris,” which landed at No. 10 on his list.

“I really can’t stand Owen Wilson,” said Tarantino. “I spent the first time watching the movie loving it and hating him.” He softened somewhat upon second viewing and, with the third, “I found myself only watching him.”

It’s unclear how “Scream” star Lillard, 55, factored into the conversation, which lives behind a paywall on Ellis’ Patreon.
