You have questions. I have some answers.

Q: I was wondering when the second season of “Paradise” might be coming.

A: The post-apocalyptic drama starring Sterling K. Brown begins new episodes on Hulu on Feb. 23. According to Hulu, in the second season “Xavier searches for Teri out in the world and learns how people survived the three years since The Day. Back in Paradise, the social fabric frays as the bunker deals with the aftermath of Season 1, and new secrets are uncovered about the city’s origins.”

Q: I had high hopes for the “Blue Bloods” spinoff “Boston Blue,” but the whole connected family premise was so ridiculous, I soon lost interest. Does this show actually have staying power in your opinion?

A: It has enough staying power that CBS recently ordered a second season of “Boston Blue” (and a second season of “Sheriff Country" at the same time). The network says that “Blue” consistently wins its time slot, which as you know was the old home for “Blue Bloods.”

As for the show, I think it’s still finding its way, especially while serving Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and other older characters along with complicated family/law connections among the new characters — complications that echo "Blue Bloods."

But having rewatched all of “Blue Bloods” not long ago, I can tell you that it also needed some time to sort out its storytelling, and finally found its way to a long run. And "Boston Blue" could do the same.

Q: I love “Murder in a Small Town.” It is my favorite show. Will it be coming back for a third season?

A: At this writing, there’s no official announcement of a renewal of the series. But program creator Ian Weir told Soaps.com he is already working on stories for the third season. “I’m an optimistic guy. I’m hoping like heck that the show is renewed. I think the show has more legs. I’ve been really thrilled by the response from the audience this season. I think the show has grown over Season 1 in the ways that we really hoped it would grow. The numbers have continued to grow in a way that’s really heartening to us.”

Q: Back in the '60s, I think, there was a war movie that took place in Yugoslavia. It involved women from a small town that had been found guilty of a crime, I think adultery. Their heads were shaved and they were expelled from the town. They were captured by the enemy and ended up joining them.I think they were executed in the end as traitors. Could you tell me the name of the movie and how I can watch it?

A: While the details are somewhat different from what you remember, the movie is “Five Branded Women,” from 1960, starring Silvana Mangano, Barbara Bel Geddes, Vera Miles, Jeanne Moreau and Van Heflin. It was based on a novel by Ugo Pirro and directed by Martin Ritt. You can see it on YouTube.

Q: Your item about the “Victory at Sea” series had my brother and me disagreeing about the narrator. I said it was Alexander Scourby and my brother said it was Leonard Graves.

A: You are both right. Leonard Graves narrated the TV series, but Alexander Scourby is the credited narrator on a movie edited from the TV version.
