Bad Bunny Instagram wiped clean after Super Bowl LX performance
Published in Entertainment News
After his electric Super Bowl halftime performance on Sunday, Bad Bunny wiped his Instagram account, deleting all of his posts.
And the Puerto Rican star, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, didn’t just clear his Instagram grid — he also removed his profile photo and unfollowed everyone.
The “Me Porto Bonito” singer didn’t explain the dramatic reset to his 50 million followers before clearing out the social media grid.
Still, the move has sparked speculation with fans who think a big announcement could be on the way.
On the flip side, some people assume it’s connected to some of the backlash his Super Bowl halftime show drew from certain viewers.
Several celebrities, including Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Cardi B and Pedro Pascal, joined the Puerto Rican musician, who performed the entire set in Spanish.
He also displayed flags from various countries across the Americas, highlighting unity as a major theme of the performance.
In a post on Truth Social, President Donald Trump called the halftime show “absolutely terrible,” saying that “It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.”
Trump continued, “Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World,” he continued. “This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History!”
Bad Bunny’s team didn’t immediately get back to NY Daily News when asked about his Instagram account.
