Kid Rock believes God will "cut down" the "fake liberal" reporters who have reported on his high ticket prices - despite the accuracy of the articles.

The All Summer Long singer has hit out at stories which highlighted the staggering $5,000 price tag for front row seats at his upcoming concerts and insisted the focus should instead be on the fact there are much more affordable spots available for just $50.

He wrote on X: "Here we go again.

"The fake liberal media says I'm charging $5,000 for front-row tickets.

"They know damn well that's not the full story.

"Those are extremely limited First Class seats like I explained -- FOUR tickets per row, first five rows only (5k per seat row 1, 4k row 2, 3k row 3, 2k row 4, 1k row 5) -- Again ONLY 4 seats in rows 1 through 5 (20 "first class" seats in venues that hold 15k to 25k people)

"But instead of reporting facts or that lawn seats are only 50 bucks or how we are cutting out the scalpers, they twist it for headlines / clicks and to attack me - nothing new here.

"I WILL pray for them but I know that sooner or later God will cut 'em down."

No additional perks are offered for the "first class" seats beyond their proximity to the stage and central positioning, while other ticket prices range between $500, $200, and $100.

According to Variety, the tour's opening night in Dallas, on 1 May, has so far sold three $1,000 seats, two of the $2,000, three of the $3,000 and two of the $4,000 but all of the $5,000 tickets were still available.

At later shows, when the 55-year-old star takes to the stage in Raleigh on 5 May, he currently won't have anyone in the premium seats of the first three rows, though two $2,000 tickets have been sold and all four of the fifth row tickets, costing $1,000 each, have been snapped up.

Meanwhile, Kid Rock has topped Billboard's Hot Christian Songs for the first time thanks to his recording of Cody Johnson's country hit Til You Can't.

The Only God Knows Why singer receives a co-writing credit after contributing a new final verse which includes the lines "can give your life to Jesus / And he'll give you a second chance / 'Til you can't."
