A model who says she had a three-year romance with Timothée Chalamet has said him starting a relationship with Kylie Jenner shortly after their alleged relationship was "disrespectful".

Sarah Tena, 32, said she had a relationship with actor Timothée, 30, between 2020 and 2023.

Timothée has been in a relationship with Kylie, 28, the businesswoman and reality television star who rose to prominence on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, since 2023, and Sarah said she believed her connection with Timothée had been serious and that they had remained in contact until early in the year he got together with Kylie.

According to her account, the final time they saw one another was during a meeting in New York, where she gave him a bracelet similar to one she owned.

Their last exchange apparently took place on 5 January 2023, when Sarah is said to have wished Timothée a happy birthday and he liked the message.

According to the Daily Mail, three weeks later Timothée and Kylie were seen together at Jean Paul Gaultier's Paris Fashion Week show, with reports in April that the pair were "hanging out".

TMZ later published photographs of Kylie's Range Rover parked outside Timothée's home in Beverly Hills.

Speaking to the Mail, Sarah said she had developed deep feelings for Timothée during the period they were seeing one another.

The glamour model said: "I did get down and a little sad about the whole thing because I was like, 'Wow I might not ever see him again', and when I had always felt so sure about him and I and it turned the complete opposite of that."

Sarah added: "I never thought him and I would stop talking because we had that friendship also. He's changed."

She also said she had been in love with Timothée, though she said she had not expressed those exact words to him directly.

She told the Mail Timothée had been "genuine" and had shown an interest in her life, including asking about her 11-year-old daughter.

Timothée recently spoke about Kylie during an acceptance speech after winning Best Actor at the Critics Choice Awards for his role in the Josh Safdie film Marty Supreme.

Timothée said: "Thank you to my partner for three years. I love you. I couldn't do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

The camera then showed Kylie in the audience, where she mouthed the words "I love you" back to him.

Timothée had received the award after competing in the category alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke and Michael B. Jordan, who beat him to the best actor prize at this year's Oscars for his role in Sinners.

The day before the ceremony, Timothée and Kylie attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival separately, posing individually on the red carpet.
