Christina Applegate thinks about death “every day” while living with multiple sclerosis.

The former “Married… with Children” actor told NPR’s “Wild Card with Rachel Martin” she already knows where she’ll be buried when the end comes.

“I bought my plots already, OK?” Applegate confessed.

The 54-year-old Hollywood native stepped away from acting when she was diagnosed with MS in 2021.

She said Thursday that she knows death is “looming,” which is why she’s chosen a spot at an undisclosed location, where she plans to plant a tree over what will be her final resting place.

“It’s really pretty where it is,” Applegate said.

She said she’s purchased three plots without saying who’ll fill the other two. Applegate and her husband, musician Martyn LeNoble, welcomed a daughter, Sadie Grace, in 2011.

The National Institutes of Health describes MS as an incurable, chronic, neurological disorder that causes the immune system to attack healthy cells. The illness is said to effect people differently, though “most people” with MS have a normal life expectancy. Applegate said in March that she’s made more than 30 trips to the hospital because of her health issues.

Despite frequently having death on her mind, she’s not comfortable with the idea of dying, largely because of the effect that it will have on her little girl.

“I’m, like, really afraid of it because of her,” she sobbed.

Despite appearing in more than 250 episodes of the Fox sitcom “Married… with Children” and films including “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead” and “Bad Moms,” Applegate said motherhood is the experience she would most recommend to everyone.

“There’s so many women that don’t get to be, and I think it’s such an incredible job, such an incredible experience to be a mom,” she said. “You learn so much. You’ve got to be strong. You’ve got to be soft. You’ve got to be all the things.”
