Justin Trudeau’s eldest son, an aspiring musician, is milking his dad’s relationship with Katy Perry for his own art.

Xavier “Xav” Trudeau, 18, said on Wednesday’s episode of the “Can’t Be Censored” podcast that he makes a habit of sending the Grammy-nominated pop star, 41, the music he’s “really happy” with.

“She’s always happy to give me advice or tell me what I should change,” said the younger Trudeau, the former Canadian prime minister’s eldest child with estranged wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.

Justin and Sophie were married for nearly two decades before announcing their split in summer 2023. Together, they also share daughter Ella-Grace, 17, and 12-year-old son Hadrien.

Xav said he finds the “Teenage Dream” singer — who last year ended her engagement to Orlando Bloom — “super nice” and “super down to earth.”

“She’s great,” he told the podcast. “I think that my dad’s happy, so that’s important.”

Representatives for Perry and 49-year-old Bloom — who share 5-year-old daughter Daisy Dove — confirmed in early July 2025 that the stars had ended their nearly decade-long on-off relationship.

The politician and Perry then sparked romance rumors later that month, with recurring sightings throughout the year culminating in the pair going Instagram official in December.

Perry’s ex-husband Russell Brand, who was charged in 2025 with raping multiple women, quickly slammed her new relationship, referring to Trudeau as a “globalist stooge.”

“I was OK with Orlando Bloom, but Justin Trudeau? C’mon, man!” said Brand.

Their marriage notoriously ended in 2011 with a text message Brand sent to Perry on New Year’s Eve, telling her he wanted to divorce.
