ANAHEIM, Calif. — The Fonda Theatre is turning 100, and the Hollywood venue is marking the milestone with a month of intimate concerts featuring Father John Misty, Remi Wolf, Suicidal Tendencies and more.

The venue announced a nine-show anniversary series for October, the month of its official 100th birthday. The schedule spans punk, indie pop and electronic music, with Peaches, Cuco, Flying Lotus and Animal Collective also set to perform.

The celebration begins Oct. 1 with Suicidal Tendencies, followed by a solo performance from Father John Misty on Oct. 6. Remi Wolf will bring An Evening of Mud to the venue on Oct. 10, followed by Peaches on Oct. 17, Cuco on Oct. 21, Flying Lotus on Oct. 23 and Animal Collective on Oct. 24. Performers for Oct. 12 and Oct. 22 have yet to be announced.

Some of the shows will also double as album anniversary celebrations. Animal Collective will mark 20 years of its 2005 album “Feels,” while Cuco will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his self-released debut project, “Wannabewithu.”

The October series follows a pair of surprise Paul McCartney concerts at the Fonda earlier this year, which helped kick off the venue’s centennial celebrations.

Located on Hollywood Boulevard, the Fonda opened in 1926 as the Carter DeHaven Music Box Theatre and has operated under several names during its century-long history. It eventually became the Fonda Theatre and has since hosted generations of touring musicians and Los Angeles performers.

Fans can register now for access to ticket purchase codes for select anniversary shows, with some tickets becoming available at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10 at fondatheatre.com. Additional anniversary announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
