NEW YORK — With the NFL regular season officially underway, rumors about which star will headline the next Super Bowl have already begun to swirl.

Pop superstars Justin Bieber and Harry Styles are both high at the top of Roc Nation’s shortlist for the 2027 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show, sources told TMZ.

With the event nearly five months away, neither singer has yet been approached or offered the gig. TMZ’s sources further noted that both Styles and Bieber are likely to turn down the job should they be asked.

No other potential performers were provided.

Super Bowl LXI is scheduled to take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, but the NFL usually announces its halftime headliner in September.

Last year’s star, Bad Bunny, was announced on Sept. 28, 2025. His performance at Super Bowl LX, which took place at Levi Stadium, recently made television history by winning seven Emmys at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards earlier this month. The production took home the coveted award for Outstanding Variety Special (Live), along with technical wins for directing, music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, and technical direction/camerawork.

Roc Nation, an entertainment and management agency founded by Jay-Z, is partnered with the NFL and has worked with the league on its major music programming since 2019. As the NFL’s “live music entertainment strategist,” the Grammy Award winner will be the one that ultimately decides who gets to perform.
