Charli xcx has cancelled a date on her Music, Fashion, Film Tour at the last minute because of sickness.

Speaking on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday (20.10.26), the three-time Grammy winner did not share the specific illness she is battling but revealed that it has left her without a voice, forcing the star to pull the plug on her show at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, on Wednesday.

The Brat hitmaker penned: "Arizona angels. I am so so sorry to say we have to cancel tomorrow's music fashion film show.

"I have been fighting sickness throughout this run of shows and have now completely lost my voice.

"I put absolutely everything I have into my performances, both physically and emotionally, and it breaks me that I can't be with you tomorrow. (sic)"

Charli, 34, said her team were unable to find a new date at the Desert Diamond Arena, leaving her "so disappointed".

However, the Boom Clap artist vowed to fans she will "return to AZ in the future".

Charli added: "Again, I'm sorry to the angels who had made plans to be there tomorrow. I know how much time, planning, and care it takes to come to concerts and appreciate everyone's support immensely. (sic)"

The 365 performer confirmed her show at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Friday (23.10.26) is going ahead as planned.

She concluded her post by saying: "I am now resting ahead of the final show in Vegas this Friday. I want to be back onstage and finish this tour together with you.

"Love you all x Charli. (sic)"

The party 4 u star added that refunds will be issued to fans.

Charli began the Music, Fashion, Film tour at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on September 11, and it is set to end at the Accor Arena in Paris, France, on February 24, 2027.

Last month, Charli said she finds touring "emotionally and physically hard" after facing criticism because she will only be playing six arena shows in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Amsterdam and Paris during the 2027 run of her Music, Fashion, Film tour in the UK and Europe.

Responding to the backlash, the Von dutch singer wrote on Instagram: "I know there's a lot of frustration in the comments about the fact that I am not doing lots of dates.

"I am really sorry if you feel disappointed but I have to honor my truth as an artist: touring is really emotionally and physically hard for me.

"I am not looking for sympathy and I have a huge amount of respect for artists who can handle it at an intense, lengthy and high octane level, but I am just not one of those human beings and I never have been."

Charli, who noted that she had opted for a shorter run during her current North American tour for the same reasons, promised to do her best to enjoy the shows.

She added: "I'm sorry if you feel I am letting you down; I really am. Perhaps one day I will be built for the kind of touring you expect from me but right now I am not.

"If you're coming to a show I hope you have fun and enjoy it, and I will try my best to stay in a healthy and positive mindset and enjoy it too."
