Auto review: 2024 Honda Odyssey Elite is the minivan for many
Published in Automotive News
While the minivan is almost extinct, thanks to the dominance of the SUV, the Honda Odyssey still has a favored spot in Grasso’s Garage. The 2024 Odyssey, assembled in Lincoln, Alabama, boasts tremendous room, comfort and style.
Our 2024 Honda Odyssey Elite tester came wrapped in Lunar Silver Metallic and a gray interior. Since Honda delivered this just in time for a field trip, five of my friends and I piled in and went to a MLB baseball game. The four hours of travel time was perfect and a great way to spend a Friday night away from home. With plenty of space and outstanding comfort, the Odyssey was able to comfortably fit all of our stuff, coolers, chairs and people.
Powered by a 280 horsepower, 3.5-liter VTEC V-6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, the Honda Odyssey Elite has no problem getting up and going and is ultra smooth in both rural and urban environments. On the inside are eight seats, with the option of removing the second-row middle seat for added comfort and space. Blu-Ray/DVD rear seat entertainment with wireless headsets, SiriusXM Radio, and Honda Navigation are included. On the outside, dual power sliding doors, great sight lines and aesthetics, 19-inch wheels, LED Headlights and remote engine start are great features.
Honda routinely delivers excellent reliability, style and affordability. The Odyssey continues to be the best people mover there is, and for a minivan lover myself there is nothing like like the 2024 Honda Odyssey Elite.
