DETROIT — The Detroit Pistons faced a significant challenge with turnovers during their game Monday night at Little Caesars Arena.

The Pistons recorded 23 turnovers, allowing the Atlanta Hawks to stay competitive. It was surprising, considering the Hawks were coming off a double-overtime victory against the Philadelphia 76ers just 24 hours earlier.

The Pistons' mistakes allowed the Hawks to lead by five points midway through the fourth quarter; however, Detroit corrected its mistakes to secure a 99-98 victory.

Jalen Duren, who missed the previous game due to a left leg contusion, led the Pistons with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Ron Holland and Caris LeVert were vital in keeping the Pistons afloat despite their mistakes, scoring 17 and 14 points, respectively. Holland also added six rebounds.

Jalen Johnson led the Hawks with 29 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists, while Onyeka Okongwu added 20 points, six rebounds and four assists.
