All-Star duo leads Pistons to historic blowout over Nets

DETROIT — The Detroit Pistons began their four-game homestand on Sunday with a 130-77 victory over the Brooklyn Nets. Inside Little Caesars Arena, Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren showcased their dynamic duo act, further solidifying their All-Star selections.
The 53-point margin of victory was the largest in Pistons history.
Duren celebrated his first career All-Star selection by recording his 23rd double-double of the season, finishing with 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. His performance also marked his 12th game of the season with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds. During the third quarter, he contributed 12 points to help Detroit outscore Brooklyn 33-18.
Cunningham, who will be starting in the league's annual mid-season tournament, recorded his 24th double-double with 18 points, 12 assists and three blocks. Daniss Jenkins led the bench unit with 18 points.
The victory also improved the Pistons' overall record to 36-12.
