Here's a look back at Week 13's action and fantasy advice for the week ahead:

WEEK 13 RECAP

Packers 31, Lions 24: Amon-Ra St. Brown suffered a low ankle sprain early in the loss to Green Bay on Thanksgiving. With St. Brown’s injury and Kalif Raymond already out (ankle), Isaac TeSlaa played a season-high 92.1% of Detroit’s offensive snaps. The rookie playmaker caught both of his targets for 35 yards and a touchdown. Three of his six receptions this season have resulted in a TD.

Cowboys 31, Chiefs 28: CeeDee Lamb’s demise was greatly exaggerated. Lamb finished with seven receptions on nine targets for 112 yards and a TD against Kansas City on Thanksgiving. The dynamic receiver has at least 74 yards or a TD in each of the eight games he’s started and finished this season.

Bengals 32, Ravens 14: Something just ain’t right with Lamar Jackson. Jackson has only completed 56% of his passes for 768 yards, and one TD against three interceptions in his last four games, and he accounted for three of the five turnovers in the Thanksgiving night loss to Cincy. The two-time MVP has no touchdowns and five giveaways in the last three games.

Bears 24, Eagles 15: Chicago’s D’Andre Swift (18 carries for 125 yards and a TD) and Kyle Monangai (22 carries for 130 yards and a TD) became the first teammates to run for at least 125 yards and a TD in a game since Frank Gore and Colin Kaepernick did it for the 49ers in 2014. They became the first Bears duo to each rush for at least 100 yards in a game since 1985 (Walter Payton and Matt Suhey).

49ers 26, Browns 8: Jauan Jennings had four receptions on six targets for 39 yards and a TD at Cleveland. Jennings is the overall WR11 in standard formats (WR14 in PPR) since Week 9 with four touchdowns in his last five games.

Jaguars 25, Titans 3: Trevor Lawrence threw for 229 yards and two TDs, while also running three times for 25 yards in the victory over Tennessee. Lawrence is the overall QB8 since Week 5 with multiple TDs in six of the last eight games. Since Week 9, he’s the overall QB6 with at least 25 rushing yards or a rushing TD in five straight games.

Texans 20, Colts 16: Jonathan Taylor finished with 121 total yards on 24 touches against a difficult Houston defense, but he failed to score a TD for the second straight game. It’s the first time this season Taylor has gone multiple games without reaching paydirt.

Dolphins 21, Saints 17: In eight games since Tyreek Hill suffered a season-ending injury, De’Von Achane has produced 788 yards and five TDs on 136 carries (5.8 yards per carry), while catching 35 balls on 47 targets for 227 yards and two TDs. Achane is the overall RB4 across most fantasy formats since Week 5.

Jets 27, Falcons 24: Adonai Mitchell finally got open AND caught the ball, finishing with eight receptions for 102 yards and a TD on 12 targets against Atlanta. Mitchell has at least six targets in all three of his games since being traded to New York.

Buccaneers 20, Cardinals 17: In seven games with Jacoby Brissett under center, Trey McBride has 59 receptions on 76 targets for 604 yards and seven TDs. If McBride were a wide receiver, he’d be the overall WR2 in standard formats (WR1 in PPR) since Week 6.

Panthers 31, Rams 28: Davante Adams had four receptions on five targets for 58 yards and two TDs at Carolina. Adams now has 11 TD receptions in his last six games, and leads the NFL with 14 this season. His career-high is 18 with the Packers in 2020.

Seahawks 26, Vikings 0: Jaxon Smith-Njigba wasn’t needed in this one, as he produced a season low in receptions (two), targets (four) and yards (23) in the blowout. It’s only the second time he had fewer than nine targets in a game since Week 5. JSN’s previous low in receiving yards was 79.

Bills 26, Steelers 7: James Cook III finished with 144 yards on a career-high 32 carries at Pittsburgh. Cook also contributed 33 yards on three receptions. It was his ninth game of the season with at least 102 total yards.

Chargers 31, Raiders 14: Here are Kimani Vidal’s weekly finishes in PPR since Week 6: RB7, RB40, RB8, RB42, RB8, RB62 and RB3. Talk about a roller coaster.

Broncos 27, Commanders 26 (OT): Chris Rodriguez finished with 41 yards and a TD on 11 carries against Denver. Rodriguez is still in a timeshare with Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols, but he’s been the primary ball-carrier recently, especially at the goal-line. Rodriguez has at least 11 carries in three of his last four games, and a TD in four of his last six.

Patriots 33, Giants 15: Devin Singletary finished with 102 total yards and a TD in the loss at New England on Monday night. Tyrone Tracy had to be helped off the field early in the fourth quarter and was eventually carted back to the locker room with a hip injury. Singletary is the overall RB11 in standard formats (RB15 in PPR) since Week 11 with at least 44 rushing yards in each game and three total TDs.

Feel free to hit me up @UTEddieBrown on X, formerly known as Twitter, with any specific lineup questions I don’t cover in my posts.

Here are my best bets for Week 14:

DALLAS AT DETROIT

Obvious starters: Dak Prescott (DAL), CeeDee Lamb (DAL), George Pickens (DAL), Javonte Williams (DAL), Jahmyr Gibbs (DET).

Who to start: Amon-Ra St. Brown (DET) remains an obvious starter if he’s active (ankle), but I’d be surprised if he plays. Jameson Williams (DET) is the overall WR3 in standard formats (WR5 in PPR) since Week 9 with at least 66 yards and a TD in four of the last five games. David Montgomery (DET) maintains RB2/flex upside as the overall RB22 in standard formats (RB23 in PPR) through 13 weeks. Jared Goff (DET) faces a defense allowing the most fantasy points to quarterbacks, including 28 TD passes in the last 11 games.

Who to sit: I’m fading Jake Ferguson (DAL) against a defense that has allowed three-or-fewer receptions to tight ends in four of the last five games.

Sleeper: With Kalif Raymond out (ankle), Isaac TeSlaa (DET) has flex appeal against a defense allowing the most fantasy points to wide receivers, including 21 TD receptions in the last 11 games — TeSlaa has WR2/3 upside if St. Brown is out.

SEATTLE AT ATLANTA

Obvious starters: Jaxon Smith-Njigba (SEA), Bijan Robinson (ATL).

Who to start: Kenneth Walker III (SEA) maintains RB2/flex upside as the overall RB19 in standard formats (RB17 in PPR) since Week 9. Zach Charbonnet (SEA) maintains flex appeal as the overall RB20 in standard formats (RB27 in PPR) since Week 9 with a TD in three of the last four games. The Seahawks D/ST is the only defense in fantasy averaging double-digit points (11) this season (according to Fantasy Pros). Drake London (ATL) remains an obvious starter if he’s active (knee). Kyle Pitts (ATL) faces a defense allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to tight ends.

Who to sit: Cooper Kupp (SEA) remains TD-dependent with three-or-fewer receptions in his last six games. Sam Darnold (SEA) is the overall QB18 since Week 9, and only has value in superflex formats this week. AJ Barner (SEA) faces a defense allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to tight ends. Darnell Mooney (ATL) remains a boom-or-bust candidate with three-or-fewer receptions in eight straight games. Tyler Allgeier (ATL) is TD-dependent against a defense allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to running backs. Kirk Cousins (ATL) has finished as the weekly QB23, QB14 and QB22 in his three starts this season.

Sleeper: Rashid Shaheed (SEA) has flex appeal against a defense that has allowed nine TD receptions to wide receivers in the last six games.

CINCINNATI AT BUFFALO

Obvious starters: Joe Burrow (CIN), Ja’Marr Chase (CIN), Chase Brown (CIN), Josh Allen (BUF), James Cook III (BUF).

Khalil Shakir (BUF) maintains flex appeal as the overall WR36 in standard formats (WR26 in PPR) since Week 8. The Bills D/ST deserves streaming consideration against an offense allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing defenses.

Who to sit: Andrei Iosivas (CIN) remains TD-dependent with four-or-fewer targets in five of his last seven games. Both Noah Fant (CIN) and Mike Gesicki (CIN) are TD-dependent against a defense allowing the fewest fantasy points to tight ends, and the Bills haven’t allowed a TD to the position since Week 2. Keon Coleman (BUF) faces a defense allowing the sixth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. Ray Davis (BUF) remains TD-dependent despite the premium matchup.

Sleeper(s): Samaje Perine (CIN) has flex appeal against a defense allowing fourth-most fantasy points to running backs, including 15 rushing TDs in 12 games this season. Dawson Knox (BUF) deserves streaming consideration against a defense allowing the most fantasy points to tight ends if Kincaid remains out.

TENNESSEE AT CLEVELAND

Obvious starters: Quinshon Judkins (CLE), Browns D/ST.

Who to start: Jerry Jeudy (CLE) has flex appeal against a defense allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to wide receivers, including eight TD receptions in the last six games. Harold Fannin Jr. (CLE) deserves streaming consideration as the overall TE12 in standard formats (TE10 in PPR) since Week 5.

Who to sit: Tony Pollard (TEN) is the overall RB50 in standard formats (RB45 in PPR) since Week 8. Tyjae Spears (TEN) hasn’t had double-digit touches since Week 9, and only has value in deeper PPR formats. I’m fading Chimere Dike (TEN) and Elic Ayomanor (TEN) against a defense allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. Cedric Tillman (CLE) remains a boom-or-bust candidate with three-or-fewer receptions in his last seven games. David Njoku (CLE) remains TD-dependent with only six targets in his last four games.

WASHINGTON AT MINNESOTA

Obvious starters: Justin Jefferson (MIN).

Who to start: Zach Ertz (WAS) is the overall TE10 in standard formats (TE8 in PPR) through 13 weeks. The Commanders D/ST deserves streaming consideration against an offense allowing the most fantasy points to opposing defenses. Aaron Jones (MIN) maintains RB2/flex upside as the overall RB33 in standard formats (RB24 in PPR) since Week 9 against a defense allowing the third-most fantasy points to running backs. Jordan Addison (MIN) has flex appeal against a defense allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. T.J. Hockenson (MIN) deserves streaming consideration against a defense allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to tight ends.

Who to sit: I’m fading Deebo Samuel (WAS) and Terry McLaurin (WAS) against a defense allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. I’m also fading Jayden Daniels (WAS) if he’s active (left elbow) or Marcus Mariota (WAS) against a defense that hasn’t allowed a TD pass since Week 10. Jacory Croskey-Merritt (WAS) hasn’t had double-digit carries since Week 10. Jordan Mason (MIN) remains TD-dependent unless Jones is out (shoulder).

Sleeper(s): Chris Rodriguez Jr. (WAS) has flex appeal against a defense that has allowed at least one rushing TD in six straight games. J.J. McCarthy (MIN) faces a defense allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, including 14 TD passes in the last six games.

MIAMI AT N.Y. JETS

Obvious starters: De’Von Achane (MIA), Jaylen Waddle (MIA), Breece Hall (NYJ).

Who to start: Darren Waller (MIA) deserves streaming consideration against a defense that has allowed at least 50 yards or a TD to tight ends in eight of 12 games this season. The Dolphins D/ST had two sacks and recovered three fumbles in Week 4 against the Jets. Mason Taylor (NYJ) deserves streaming consideration against a defense allowing the third-most fantasy points to tight ends — Taylor had five receptions on seven targets for 65 yards against the Jets in Week 4. The Jets D/ST deserves streaming consideration at home against an offense allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing defenses.

Who to sit: Tua Tagovailoa (MIA) hasn’t topped 200 passing yards since Week 9, and has only two TD passes in his last four games. Malik Washington (MIA) is TD-dependent with three-or-fewer receptions in three of his last four games. Devin Neal (NO) has flex appeal with Alvin Kamara out (knee) and back-to-back games with at least 12 touches and 61 total yards. In two games since the Saints’ bye, Devaughn Vele (NO) is the overall WR18 in standard formats (WR12 in PPR) with 11 receptions on 15 targets for 130 yards and a TD. Baker Mayfield (TB) is the overall QB12 since Week 10. Cade Otton (TB) is TD-dependent with only eight receptions in the last three games. Tez Johnson (TB) is a boom-or-bust candidate with only nine targets in the last three games. The Buccaneers D/ST deserves streaming consideration at home against an offense allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing defenses.

Who to sit: Chris Godwin (TB) is a boom-or-bust candidate with three-or-fewer receptions in all four games he’s played this season. Rachaad White (TB) is TD-dependent with Irving back in the lineup.

Bhayshul Tuten (JAC) remains TD-dependent while he’s only playing around 30% of the offensive snaps. Parker Washington (JAC) is a boom-or-bust candidate with Thomas healthy. I’m fading the Jaguars D/ST against an offense allowing the fewest fantasy points to opposing defenses.

Sleeper: Brenton Strange (JAC) faces a defense allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to tight ends.

PITTSBURGH AT BALTIMORE

Obvious starters: DK Metcalf (PIT), Jaylen Warren (PIT), Lamar Jackson (BAL), Derrick Henry (BAL), Zay Flowers (BAL).

Who to start: Kenneth Gainwell (PIT) maintains flex appeal in deeper leagues as the overall RB35 in standard formats (RB24 in PPR) since Week 6. Only the Seahawks have scored more fantasy points than the Steelers D/ST since Week 9. Mark Andrews (BAL) is the overall TE5 in standard formats (TE8 in PPR) since Week 9. Rashod Bateman (BAL) has flex appeal against a defense allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to wide receivers, including at least one TD in seven straight games. The Ravens D/ST is the fifth-highest scoring defense in fantasy since Week 9.

L.A. RAMS AT ARIZONA

Who to start: Jacoby Brissett (ARI) is the overall QB4 since he took over for an injured Kyler Murray in Week 6. Marvin Harrison Jr. (ARI) maintains WR3/flex upside if he’s active (heel). Michael Wilson (ARI) has flex appeal with at least seven targets in four straight games, but he’s an obvious starter if Harrison is out.

Who to sit: Blake Corum (LAR) remains TD-dependent while Williams is healthy. Terrance Ferguson (LAR) hasn’t had a reception since Week 10. Bam Knight (ARI) faces a defense allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to running backs.

Sleeper: Colby Parkinson (LAR) has at least four receptions or a TD in four straight games and deserves streaming consideration against a defense allowing the 10th-most fantasy points to tight ends.

HOUSTON AT KANSAS CITY

Obvious starters: Nico Collins (HOU), Texans D/ST, Patrick Mahomes (KC), Travis Kelce (KC), Rashee Rice (KC).

Who to start: Dalton Schultz (HOU) has at least six receptions for 51 yards in four of the last five games.

Woody Marks (HOU) faces a defense allowing the seventh-fewest fantasy points to running backs. Nick Chubb (HOU) hasn’t had double-digit carries since Week 9. Christian Kirk (HOU) remains TD-dependent with only seven receptions in the last four games. I’m fading both Xavier Worthy (KC) and Marquise Brown (KC) against a defense allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. Both Isiah Pacheco (KC) and Kareem Hunt (KC) are TD-dependent against a dominant Texans’ defense.

Sleeper: Jayden Higgins (HOU) maintains WR3/flex upside as the overall WR25 across most fantasy formats since Week 8.

PHILADELPHIA AT L.A. CHARGERS

Obvious starters: Jalen Hurts (PHI), Saquon Barkley (PHI), AJ Brown (PHI), Ladd McConkey (LAC).

Who to start: Omarion Hampton (LAC) is an obvious starter if he’s active (ankle). Even if Hampton returns, Kimani Vidal (LAC) still has flex appeal against a defense allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to running backs, including 366 rushing yards and two TDs in the last two games.

Who to sit: I’m fading DeVonta Smith (PHI) against a defense allowing the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. I’m fading Dallas Goedert (PHI) against a defense allowing the seventh-fewest fantasy points to tight ends. I’m fading the Eagles D/ST without Jalen Carter (shoulders). I doubt Justin Herbert (LAC) plays after having surgery to repair his broken left hand this week, but if he does, I expect the gameplan to be ultra-conservative. I’m fading Oronde Gadsden II (LAC) against a defense allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to tight ends. Keenan Allen (LAC) is the overall WR72 in standard formats (WR62 in PPR) since Week 8. Quentin Johnston (LAC) is a boom-or-bust candidate with zero receptions in two of his last five games.

Sleeper: The Chargers D/ST deserves streaming consideration at home against an oversimplified Eagles’ offense on the verge of imploding.
