Hanging pictures should generally be easy, but often when you are hanging multiple frames at a specific angle or in a particular pattern, the results aren't what you want. Hozo Design calls it "the world's first anti-gravity laser level, combining innovation with unmatched versatility." Included are the M-Cube main unit, M-Cube 02 module, and a few other accessories. This all adds up to a professional laser-guided tool with an angle accuracy of ±0.1 degrees, allowing you to hang small items in a full gallery effortlessly and with perfect alignment. At the same time, exact measurements are displayed in real-time.

The M-Cube 02 has numerous capabilities, including a laser measure that enables accurate results. What stands out is its powerful vacuum adhesion system. This allows the device to temporarily attach itself to most surfaces with a washable suction pad simply by pressing a button. When the job is completed, and you release the tool of its suction, there is no evidence left behind. A warning will alert you if the pressure is not being held, and it will release.

It is designed to attach to various surfaces, including wood, wood paneling, plaster, wallpaper, particleboard, stone and ceilings. A GripMate is included for surfaces that aren't smooth.

Once attached to a surface, it requires a quick calibration. And then, with its easy 360-degree rotation, the lasers extended at any angle, horizontal, vertical, or diagonally. Both levels can shine together or independently, all controlled by turning a knob. Once it is attached to the surface, the M-Cube can easily rotate to your desired angle.

Measurements are done from the center of the M-Cube. A pinhole finder accessory can be placed at the exact spot on the wall of your starting point, and then the M-Cube can be attached over it. There are also built-in levels for placement accuracy. You can work with the distance between points if you are hanging multiple items that need identical distances between each by finding the center point between each for perfect placement.

The laser measures the level and distance together. A touchscreen display, which you can control on-screen or with the control knob, shows the results along with the choices of the features it can perform. The features include displaying results in either standard U.S. measurements or metric units.

The module can be removed from the M-Cube and used as an independent hand-held tool. The companion Meazor app can also be used for choosing and displaying settings and results. Results from the M-Cube can also be uploaded to the app.

As mentioned, I thought the M-Cube might be a complicated accessory, but it isn't. I ran through my initial test without reading the instructions, but I went back to them to ensure I had things right. This tool can accomplish a lot, and it certainly makes complicated projects easier.

The internal 2600 mAh rechargeable battery is rated to last for 12 hours of continuous use before requiring a USB-C charge. It measures 4.1 inches by 4.1 inches by 2.1 inches and weighs approximately one pound.
