Gadgets: Air duster makes itself invaluable
Published in Science & Technology News
The Wolfbox MF100 Air Duster is one of those gadgets you don’t think you need — until you try it, and suddenly you wonder how you lived without it.
The MF100 Air Duster is an endless amount of compressed air packed into a handheld device. There are three adjustable speeds (slow, medium, high) to suit specific needs, ranging from light dust removal to heavy-duty chores, with speeds up to 185 mph.
Knowing all this, you might wonder how you would use an air duster. First and foremost in my world, having a clean car is a priority. After the wash itself, an air compressor, which many car washes have, is the best accessory for cleaning all the nooks and crannies of a car's interior.
The MF100 Air Duster ($79.99/Amazon) was put to task for my car cleaning and won me over in seconds. On the interior, it cleans hard-to-get-to areas, like vents, dashboard corners, between seats, molding seams and similar places. For the exterior, water is often left in moldings, seams, edges of windows, side mirrors, etc., which were no match for the MF100.
If car washing isn't crucial to you, how about blowing dust and crumbs off your keyboard or other hard-to-get-to areas of your household? That's the part I was referring to, where you think you don't need it until you have it. Finding uses is endless, allowing one to conquer hard-to-reach areas needing cleaning easily.
It weighs just 0.66 pounds and has two button controls, so it’s compact, and easy to use and store. It's powered by an internal USB-C 6,000 mAh rechargeable battery, which is suitable for up to 100 minutes of use, depending on the speed that is used. A full charge will take 2.5 hours.
Five nozzles, two brushes, a charging cable and a lanyard are included to adjust for cleaning most any task. In addition to cleaning dusty areas, the MR100 can be used to fill air mattresses or pool floats in less than a minute. Blow leaves off your patio, clean an AC vent, or use a low setting to help a campfire get going.
It is also good for the environment when you consider how many uses it provides over its lifetime compared to disposable canned air, which gets a fraction of the uses before being tossed into the trash.
The MF200 Air Duster ($99.99/Amazon) has many of the same features but also includes a swappable 6,000 mAh rechargeable battery to extend the run time. Both models come with a 24-month warranty and 24/7 customer service. Extra batteries are $34.99 each.

We all need portable power on the go, and that's what you get with INIU's new Pocket Rocket P50. The fast-charging portable power bank has 10,000mAh of power packed inside, producing up to 45 watts of output.
Measuring just 3.3 by 2.0 by 1.0 inches/5.6 ounces, it's hard to dispute INIU's claim that it is the world's smallest power bank with this much power. It has an integrated USB-C lanyard cable for charging and recharging. The P50 can simultaneously charge three devices with a pair of USB-C ports and a single USB-A.
The INIU specifications state that it can bring a smartphone with a low battery to about 73% in 25 minutes. Or take a MacBook Air up to 42% in the same amount of time. They list the battery to deliver roughly two full charges to an iPhone 16, 1.5 charges to a Samsung S24, or 1.5 charges to an iPad mini.
One of the USB-C ports works as an input to charge the Rocket P50 itself. It's available in a variety of colors for $32.99
