NEW YORK — Dwight Howard’s wife, “Love & Hip Hot: Atlanta” star Amber Rose Howard, wants out of their marriage, filing for divorce after a mere six months of marriage to the former NBA mainstay.
Amber, better known as Amy Luciani, is seeking alimony and asking for all marital assets and property to be “equitably divided,” according to the July 1 Georgia filing, obtained by TMZ Sports.
The 35-year-old reality personality says “there are no prospects for reconciliation” in the “irretrievably broken” union with the former Los Angeles Lakers center-forward, 39.
The filing states that the Howards wed on Jan. 11, less than a month after they simultaneously went Instagram official and announced their engagement.
Luciani, who is also a rapper, revealed the news in a since-deleted carousel, which at the time was captioned, “I was enjoying you so much out of the public eye but here we are.”
The post included multiple clips of the couple, beginning with one in which Howard was caressing the diamond ring on Luciani’s left ring finger.
Howard is dad to five kids, aged 12 to 17, with five different women, including his late ex-girlfriend, Melissa Rios.
