INDIANAPOLIS — The Detroit Pistons survived a fourth-quarter rally from the Indiana Pacers to take a 122-117 victory, Monday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. With the win, the Pistons extended their winning streak to 13, tying the all-time franchise record.
The Pistons once led by 19 points, but the Pacers would not go away. Isaiah Jackson scored on an And-one basket, which brought Indiana within two points, 117-115, with 49 seconds left in the fourth quarter. However, on the next possession, Cade Cunningham helped the Pistons avoid a collapse by scoring a huge midrange jumper.
Cunningham led the way for Detroit with 24 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. Caris LeVert tied his season-high with 19 points on 5-of-9 shooting, including three 3-pointers.
In his second game back from injury, Jaden Ivey delivered another promising performance, scoring 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting, 2 of 3 from beyond the arc, in 11 minutes.
Pascal Siakam led Indiana with a team-best 24 points and seven rebounds. Jarace Walker added 21 points for the Pacers.
