DETROIT — This time it was the Detroit Red Wings who pulled off an impressive rally.

Alex DeBrincat's goal at 1 minute, 50 seconds of overtime gave the Wings a 4-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets Saturday at Little Caesars Arena.

DeBrincat drove down wing, then fired a shot over the shoulder of goaltender Jet Greaves for DeBrincat's 10th goal, as the Wings overcame a 3-1 third-period deficit.

Ben Chiarot and Mortiz Seider scored goals nearly three minutes apart midway in the third period, tying the game at 3-3.

Chiarot pounced on a loose puck and snapped a shot past Greaves, Chiarot's second goal, at the 10:23 mark. Seider tied it at 3, with his third goal, whistling a shot from the point with a power play just having expired, at the 13:25 mark.

Moments before Seider's goal, goaltender Cam Talbot made a key save on a short-handed breakaway on the Jackets' Sean Monahan, keeping it a one-goal deficit.

Zach Werenski (Michigan) converted a perfectly run give-and-go with defensive partner Ivan Provorov, with Werenski scoring his seventh goal and giving Columbus a brief 3-1 lead at 8:38 of the third period.

Lucas Raymond opened the Wings' scoring, while Adam Fantilli (power play) and Miles Wood had Columbus goals.

Wood scored at 54 seconds of the second period, getting his stick on Denton Mateychuk's point shot, to answer Raymond's goal only 18 seconds earlier.

The Wings challenged Wood's goal, arguing goalie interference on Wood prior to the goal being scored. Wood made contact with Talbot skating through the slot, but video replay confirmed no interference.

Raymond tied the game at 1 at 36 seconds of the second period. A Columbus clearing attempt was deflected and the puck landed on the stick of Raymond, who cut through the slot and slipped a backhander, his seventh goal, past Greaves.

Fantilli, the former Michigan star, opened the scoring in the first period. With the Blue Jackets enjoying a two-man advantage, Fantilli whistled a shot from the hashmarks, his ninth goal.
